Sushant Khaire, M.D. specializes in general, nuclear, and interventional cardiology as well as vascular medicine. He is skilled in echocardiography, non-invasive vascular imaging, and treatment of peripheral vascular disease. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
A native of India, he completed his medical degree at Grant Medical College, Mumbai, India. Dr. Khaire began his educational experience in the United States in 2007 at Mississippi State University completing a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology. During this time, he was actively involved in research studies involving cardiac and respiratory physiology. Dr. Khaire subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He was also associated with research studies in coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and chronic kidney disease.
Dr. Khaire spends his free time with his wife and son. He enjoys traveling, trying different cuisines, watching Formula 1 racing, and exercising.
